Besides sleeping in one's own bed, and cuddling with our beloved pup, opening the mailbox to see the awaiting cards is one of my very favorite activities when returning home after the holidays. 

So many sweet families and beautiful new babies. We are grateful to have wonderful friends. Happy Holidays, everyone. 

In other news, Seattle is freezing. And the kids are cranky after a long day of travel.  Is it too early for a margarita? I need to hold on to those warm memories of Baja somehow...
