Well My Dears,
After last year’s adventures in DIY Advent Calendar making, it is time once again to fill each little box. But this year, instead of doing toys and candy, we’re opting for activities instead.
Here are some ideas, in no particular order:
- Go to the zoo
- Make a paper chain
- Pick out and (have Daddy) cut down the christmas tree
- Brew hot apple cider and have a
teacider party - Go have lunch downtown with daddy
- Put coins in the Salvation Army can
- Have breakfast by christmas tree light
- Make cookies
- Deliver cookies to the neighbors
- Decorate christmas tree
- Pick out some cans to put in the food drive bin
- Have a christmas carol dance party in the living room
- Make a bird feeder out of pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed
- Dress Bailey Dog up as a reindeer
- Make a gingerbread house
- Draw holiday cards for the grandparents
- Make snowflakes out of paper
- Have a picnic under the christmas tree
- Make a pie
- Go sledding
- Move into a big boy room
- Make mini pizzas for dinner
- Visit the reindeer at Hunter Tree Farm
- Make christmas tree cone artwork and then decorate the tree. Like this, this, or this.
- Bake doggie cookies for Bailey
- Roast marshmallows over candle flame
- Hang christmas lights outside
- Dress up as Santa
- Make stuffing for dinner
- Decorate butcher paper as wrapping paper
- Do some face painting - the grinch, anyone?
- Have picture taken with Santa
- Make a christmas crown
Merry Christmas!!!
You’ll notice that there are more than 25...and that some of them are J-family specific. I doubt most of you will be moving into your ‘big boy rooms’, for example. :)

Sonja
