Today, King County, Seattle Public Utilities and Cedar Grove are kicking off Compostival!, celebrating area residents for composting 350,000 tons of yard waste, food scraps and food soiled paper in their yard waste bins. To reward residents, scratch tickets are available to diners at all area Zeeks Pizza, offering a chance to win fun prizes including free pizza, compost, and a the BIG prize of premium seats to watch the Seahawks defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Each ticket also comes with a coupon for a free bag of compost with the purchase of two bags.
