As I got out of the shower: “Hi Mama’s Milk!” And on that note, we are weaning. Stat.
Upon seeing my mom: “Grandma! Ice cream!” This kid ain’t no dummy.
We have entered the world of two year old boys. Warning, potty words ahead. Last night as we were getting Ben ready for bed:
Ben [pointing at a fully clothed Chris]: "Daddy penis”
Chris: “Yes, daddy has a penis"
Ben [pointing at himself]: “Ben penis”
Chris: “Yes, Ben has a penis too"
Ben [pointing at a fully clothed Sonja]: “Mama penis”
Sonja: “What? No. No mama penis”
Ben: “MAMA PENIS!”
So glad this was at home, and not, say, in the middle of the supermarket.

Upon waking up from his nap:
Sonja:"Ben, I have a special treat for you! Frozen chocolate dipped banana bites!"
Ben:"yes chocolate, no banana"
