I'd finished everything with the exception of the buttons and snaps, only to discover that one leg was an inch longer than the other.
A whole inch.
In pattern sewing, that’s a whole heck of a lot of extra fabric.
How on earth did I do that, Peeps?! Damn.
Aaaaand this is why the seam ripper is my best friend.
A few hours of ripping and resewing later, the problem was fixed, the snaps were installed...and all was well in my world again.
Still haven’t gotten the courage to do the buttonhole yet but I’ve got four days to work on it.
