A few months ago my Uncle Bill brought over a chair that he’d stripped and sanded. It’s a simple, sweet piece - perfect for Ben.
Ready for paint:
I stained the wooden pieces with a few coats of cherry stain and then sprayed on three coats of clear gloss.
The metal frame got a glossy coat of “bahama blue”, which turned out to be a little too much like the blue on my middle school desks and chairs. Bad memories.
It was quickly remedied into this dark blue. What color would you call that, exactly? Royal blue? Navy?
Now we just need to find the kiddo a little table to go with his chair.
