Lovelies,
I hope you had a great weekend!
We went for a hike with my in-laws at our favorite state park (St. Ed's) on Saturday and then over to dinner at my parent's house.
On Sunday we Chris did an enormous amount of yard work and then we capped it off with a bbq at Megan and Eric's casa.
I have stuffed myself silly these last two days. And haven't regretted a single mouthful.
Here are a few pictures of the baby from the park:
This kiddo loves the slides. I was the at the playground with my friend Megan last week and Ben shocked us both when he zipped down the slide headfirst. Probably not his smartest moment. But definitely his gutsiest.
There is a new article on the New York Times blog about the number of children that fracture legs after riding down slides on their parents' laps. Read it here.
After the playground we parked ourselves on the grass. Ben toddled over and stole some kids' ball.
Clearly he was exceptionally proud of himself.
And we are definitely walking. The best trick so far: going to a standing position without holding onto anything.
And we're up!
With a ball, to boot.
xoxo,
Sonja
