I hope you had a fabulous holiday weekend!
Last night we got home from a trip to Anchorage. As you probably know, the kiddo and I went up to AK a month ago for Greg and Katherine’s wedding reception; this time around Chris was able to join us. We had a wonderful visit: hiking, fishing, state fair-ing, and of course, relaxing with family. Benjamin was in heaven.
Last night’s airplane ride was fairly interesting: Ben was awake for most of it which meant a fair amount of entertaining on our part. Also, there was a crazy old coot sitting two rows up from us that was causing absolute mayhem on the plane. We knew things were off to a bad start when he handed the flight attendant his orange juice cup filled with urine. That happened not once, but twice. And then he refused to communicate with everyone except the flight attendant in first class. It was bizarre. Although not as crazy as what happened on the next ANC-SEA flight a few hours later...
