My Parents’ house made Sunset Magazine!!!
Eh, not really.
[But it should have. SM editors: looking for an awesome, incredible urban garden with three ponds and one of the earliest permitted green roofs in Seattle? Get in touch with my mom. Seriously.]
Anyway, Sunset ran a feature on St. Edward State Park, which happens to be one of my very favorite places to hike near our home and if you wrinkle up your nose and squint really, really hard you can kind of make out La Casa de Mi Padres.

Incidentally, this log was close to our landing location when we swam across the lake from my parents’ house to the park [aka The Great Lake Washington Swim].
