Peeps,
Rowers always get a kick out of seeing a crew shell in a movie. Fun to see a little recognition for our sport…and fun to critique a non-rower’s take on the art of rowing.

For those of you that saw The Social Network, regarding Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook, you saw a few shots of crews on the Charles River in Boston and a scene from England’s famous Henley Regatta.
The Director of Recreational Sculling at Harvard, Dan Boyne, was hired as a consultant on the project and here is his rather humorous account of the filming.
It’s a long 9-part series but well worth the read.
Thanks Aaron!
