Living Roof Update

I got up on the roof yesterday to do a little weeding and take stock of the plant situation.

it still looks pretty bare.

I'm really hoping that we'll have a full summer of good growth. Our wee little plants were in hibernation over the winter and now it's time to get cracking.

I keep having to remind myself that it's going to require a good few years to spread out and look like it should. And I am pleased with our progress thus far.

and even more pleased that the whole shebang didn't slide off the edge during one of our torrential downpours this winter..
