We’ve had a bit of a rough week. Actually, scratch that. I’ve had a rough week (a bit under the weather and sleep-deprived). The kiddo is doing so very well. And is happy, to boot. But as an example of how poorly I’m functioning today, I called my mom up to wish her a happy birthday. Which is great, except it’s not until tomorrow. I suppose that’s better than forgetting it altogether (which I’ve done too).
But we do have an important birth event today - Benjamin turns 3 months old. It’s funny; there have been moments when time has flown by and I can hardly believe that he’s a 3 monther and other times, particularly at night, when we seem to be in stasis and he is still my tiny little babe, fresh home from the hospital. It has been such a joyous, tumultuous ride and we are so looking forward to the coming months with our little one.
