Seattle Urban Wildlife: Proof!

The neighborhood's newest resident has taken a liking to mom's strawberry plants, evidently. It came back last week and spent some time browsing through the yard.

And this time, the Madre managed to snap a picture. We now have proof! Deer in Seattle!

I guess Bailey had a great time sniffing around the yard after it had departed.

Any ideas on species/age/gender?
