Garden!

There is an ancient apple tree in our yard that looks like it should have been turned into a nice dining room table about 30 years ago. This thing is seriously on its last legs. And we didn't get any apples last year.

But suddenly, this year we have a plethora of fruit. We went out to sample the wares last night. Shockingly, they weren't too bad. Small, firm, crisp, with lots of bite. Tasty.

Update: I am revising my initial assessment after a few more samples; those suckers are SOUR!!! Or is it bitter?
