I'm getting a kick out of the slightly ironic situation in which we find ourselves.
In talking to us, you'll probably notice the level of extreme excitement over being pregnant. Words like 'momentous', 'stupendous', and 'life-changing' are being bandied about willy-nilly.
But when it comes right down to it, we're talking about probably the most basic of human actions. It's right up there with gathering food, making fire, and building proper shelters.
It doesn't get any more elemental than reproduction.
And, given the fact that there are 6.85 billion people on this earth, we humans have got breeding down pat.
