Sorry for the lack of posts/pictures. Last week was chaotic and overwhelming. Things here in the J household are busy.
Our weekend was nice, however. Chris and I are part of an awesome Seattle Team Works group and we spent a few hours on Saturday packing potatoes with the gang for delivery to local food shelters. Afterwards, we whisked ourselves off to PCC for a cooking class with my mom. Chinese soups! If you live in the Seattle area and are interested in cooking, I highly recommend that you mosey over to PCC Cooks and look at their classes. I've taken four or five at this point and can't get enough of 'em. A few weeks ago Megan and I did a greek class and in a month mom and I are taking a baking course from the founder of The Essential Baking Company, a local institution. Can't wait.
Sunday was pretty casual: we did a few things around the house and then Chris headed into work while I strolled over to the padres' house for some living roof planning.
I can't tell you how helpful it is to have a mom that knows her stuff, in regards to garden design. And has a living roof.
Later, we had a nice dinner with Megan and then it was off to bed. Hoping that this week is more sedate.
