What a day. My parents came over and we mounted a massive ivy and holly eradication effort on the yard. Things are going to look fairly barren around here for a bit while we try to evict the ivy once and for all. I'm itching to plant but I'm going to be patient and wait until the ivy is well and truly gone. It'll give me lots of time to plot and plan. The good news is that we cleared around the gorgeous magnolia and dogwood trees on the property. They are beautiful trees and we are lucky to have them.
