The rhubarb is ready, the strawberries are ripe, and the blackberries are just around the corner. The raspberries are looking good as well but they are far too precious to be made into jam. Frankly, they'll probably never make it to the kitchen, they'll be consumed fresh off the branch. I scored a bunch of funky jars ($2 for 12! I bought four boxes) at an estate sale last week and can't wait to put them to good use.
Yesterday I made strawberry-rhubarb and rhubarb jam. Today: ginger rhubarb. It's supposed to be delicious.
