Almost a year ago, the Seattle J contingent started a weekly get-together. It was scheduled for Thursday nights, and, because the tv show "The Office" is typically on that night, the weekly dinners were soon dubbed "Office Night". There was a while this winter when Office Nights were put on hold due to a lack of a proper event space, but now that we have the house (and a tv), Office Night is back in full force. We're all about hands-on dining. Greg and Katherine taught the rest of us how to make hard corn tortillas (they were excellent), I demonstrated homemade bread, and last week Eric and I made pizza. Of course, the most entertaining part is stretching out the dough. We only dropped it on the floor once. Not too shabby. Of course, now that The Office is over for the season, we're going to have to come up with a new name.
