Seattle becomes a one newspaper town today with the final printing of the Seattle P-I. Everyone is sorry to see it go, and not exactly thrilled to only be left with the Seattle Times. I can live with the closure of the PI, and I wouldn't raise too much of a fuss if the Seattle Times folded as well, although it would be a bummer to lose both of our dailies. But please, for the love of whatever you hold dear, don't let them take away the New York Times. I love that paper. The demise of the NYT would be catastrophic.
