After a jaunt in the Dog Zone at Marymoor Park this afternoon, Bailey and I strolled over to the adjacent Wash Spot, a relatively new Do-It-Yourself Dog Wash. Let's just say that I am now a Wash Spot convert. The resident dog expert, Glen, gave me a tutorial on the dog washing setup (it's exactly like a car wash) and we began our washing adventure! Bailey got a pre-soak, a scrub with hypo allergenic doggie soap, and a blow dry. Not bad for $8, especially since the other DIY dog wash in Seattle has a going rate of $20. I'll spend eight bucks just to avoid having to pick up the clods of dog hair from the bathroom walls, drain, and ceiling. See this post for past episodes of indoor dog washing.
I couldn't find a website for the Wash Spot but they are located in Marymoor Park (Redmond, WA), directly adjacent to the Off-Leash Dog Park.
