I've spent a lot of time recently outside of Gate 10 in the John Wayne Airport. It's my favorite seat: a good view, only a short jaunt from TSA, and rarely crowded. Gate 2, on the other hand, is the one I take when flying up to Oakland on Southwest: crowded and view-less.
