Well, the Tour is over. Team Burrito did fairly well although Vande Velde took a nasty crash in the mountains that definitely had an impact on his standings. Next year maybe. My beloved Erik Zabel was in second for the green jersey but gave it up to Thor Hushovd in the last stage. At least he beat the pants off of Robbie McEwen. Maybe someday we'll make it over there to watch an alpine stage. Oh, and I almost forgot: Carlos Sastre from CSC/Saxo Bank got the Yellow Jersey, the third in a row for Spain.
