Ok, so I looked into my closet this morning (in preparation for the holiday season) and discovered that it was awash with ribbon, wrapping paper, and wadded up balls of tissue paper. Organization was never my strong point. It was time for some decisive action. I looked up ribbon organization on Martha Stewart's webpage and was offered the following options (see top and middle pictures). The top picture involves purchasing copper gutters from your local hardware store and having your handy man cut them in half and put on endcaps. Oh Martha. Where do you come up with this crap? Clearly, that was not an option for me. And frankly, the shoe box option, while nice, wasn't going to work because I didn't have any shoe boxes that were the right size. So, time to make up my own solution.
Observe the result! Ok, so it's not very pretty but it'll accomplish the job. In the meantime, I'll start saving for those copper gutters. And I guess I'd better find myself a handy man.
