Spring is in the air so it must be time for baby critters to start descending on backyards throughout the county. We've had lots of opossums visiting our yard, much to Bailey's delight. We also have a nest of northern mockingbirds in our apricot tree. And, there are skunks. My coworker's dog had a disastrous encounter with a skunk in the wee hours of Friday night. She spent most of the day shaving the dog, bathing the dog, and then bathing the house. Here's to hoping that Bailey doesn't have a similar encounter.
