Today we were completing the unglamorous tasks of sanding/varnishing the patio furniture, cleaning the house and doing laundry. We did go for a nice hike along the river this morning with Bails and we did walk down to our neighborhood taco stand for lunch so I guess that makes up for the household chores. I was at work all day yesterday at a site in Los Angeles so frankly the slow pace of today was a welcome change. I'm ready for a vacation. I found a crazy/fantastic asian market that carries an exceptional selection of sashimi-quality fish so tonight we're making sushi!
Best of luck to Megan and Alex who are/will be departing for exciting adventures in Europe. We can't wait to hear the stories and see your pictures. Hopefully, we'll even be able to visit (but the jury is still out on that one). Have fun and be safe!!!!!
