South on Highway 1

Today we drove down Highway 1 (and parts of the 101) from Monterey through Carmel, Big Sur, and Santa Barbara. It was a delightful drive and the scenery was beautiful.

Yes, our dog drinks out of public water fountains. It doesn't look like the passer-byers are pleased..

We did the famous 17-mile drive past Pebble Beach.

We had breakfast at the most adorable inn south of Big Sur. Be sure to stop here if you ever take the drive.
