So I've been hard at work on our wedding "odds and ends" photo album and I recently switched my long-held allegiance from
Canson photo albums to a brand called
Kolo. I really liked the Canson albums because they're easy to find, come in a variety of sizes and are pretty cheap. Kolo, on the other hand, are difficult to find, only come in a couple convenient sizes and are astronomically expensive. Pretty much the only thing they have going for them is that it's really easy to add additional pages. It's really frustrating to run out of pages when only half of your pictures are installed in the album. Since I knew this was going to be a large album, I bought the album plus several additional packets of extra pages. Once this album is completed; however, I'm going back to Canson. I'm too cheap to keep buying Kolo for our everyday photos.
Simply unscrew the screws built into the back of the album to add additional blank pages
Each package of pages comes with additional metal inserts that screw into the original album
place the photos into the album and screw back together
Five inserts later the album is looking rather distended
