Papa, as you can see, we're having the same trouble with one of our goldfish too. I didn't notice it right away because Bailey terrorized them a couple weeks ago by taking every single plant out of the pond (and eating them), and moving all the bricks around. He made a huge mess and I couldn't get them up for feeding. I also haven't had time to change the water so it was pretty murky. I did perform a full water change last weekend and I hauled all the fish into Bailey's pool. He (or she) is definitely distended, especially in the back. He's not at the point of your little guy, though. We'll have to wait to see if it produces eggs, otherwise I guess we'll put him on the veggie diet too. Thankfully, ours are still pretty active even though the temperature is cooling down a bit. I�ll keep you posted on his progress.
