This is Chris and I in 2003 - our very first Christmas in our new apartment! We didn't even have any ornaments for the tree; we had to go out and buy some lights and a few bulbs at the last minute. It was great all the same.
[Note: Cherie, my mother-in-law, bought us the orange ornament that is hanging below my elbow - our first official ornament. It's the same one that I broke a few years later whist divesting the tree of its finery. Oh dear.]
