Hooray! I finally bought a pot! I've been looking for months for the perfect giant pot so I can make my very own water garden. Crazy, I know. It's because I associate gardens and ponds with home. My parents have three ponds at their house in Seattle that are filled with koi and goldfish. Some of them are ten years old! I'm trying to create my own mini-pond, complete with cool water plants and goldfish. This pot is fairly tall and has the most beautiful blue glaze that looks like it is actively flowing down the side. I love it! Chris and I spent the weekend plugging the holes in the bottom with concrete. I was hoping to get it set up this weekend but the concrete has to dry for a couple days and then I have to paint the inside with this special sealer so it doesn't leak. I'll post pictures at soon as I get it set up. The little green pot on the left is our new umbrella stand. Once Chris finishes varnishing our patio furniture, we're going to be able to eat dinner outside under our new umbrella next to our fantastic water garden!
